Jenifer comes to Western Contract with over 25 years of experience in the interior design and contract furniture industry. As a graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in Interior Design, she has the fundamental skills and detailed knowledge to advance projects to a quality and timely completion. She continually works toward developing positive client relationships by delivering interiors which are beautiful and functional. In addition to managing local accounts, Jenifer has successfully managed projects throughout the United States. Projects in her portfolio include BETA Healthcare Group, Capital Public Radio, Nuseed, Orrick and Placer County Water Agency.

As an Account Manager, Rachel is able to combine both her passion for design and client relationship building into one. With years of experience in commercial and retail design, Rachel excels in tasks that require attention to detail and project management. She is a WELL AP accredited professional and strives to complete each project successfully while keeping a safe space and healthy community in mind. Rachel’s portfolio includes partners like Kaiser Permanente, Golden 1, and MOSAC (SMUD Museum of Science and Curiosity). She has managed multi-phase projects in Los Angeles, Bellevue, New York, Charlotte and Omaha.

As a Project Designer, Megan works closely with clients and all members of the project team during each phase from start to finish. She joined the Western Contract team in the Spring of 2019 shortly after graduating from the University of California, Davis, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Design and Music Performance. With a personal interest in Sustainable Design, she felt it important to take the time to earn her Well AP and LEED GA certifications to relate it back to her work. Many of her completed projects include those out of state, with her successfully collaborating with partners in Louisville, KY; Bothell, WA; Exton, PA, and Albany, NY.

Karen joined Western Contract in 1994 and quickly excelled in tasks requiring strategic thinking and attention to detail, paving the way for her promotion to project manager in 1999. She is also a LEED Accredited Professional and is committed to sustainable solutions. She is especially skilled at managing large, complex, multi-phase and out of area projects. Karen’s portfolio includes the CalSTRS headquarters building (LEED Gold), CA Lottery Headquarters (LEED Platinum) and locations accross the Country, Golden 1, SMUD HQ, PowerSchool (locations from Folsom to India), BETA Healthcare, Dignity Health (in 18 different cities) USDA (accross the Country) & LPAS. Karen's ability to manage out of area projects is a very familiar one and has been done seamlessly for years. You can expect that same level of attention to detail whether near or far.

Callie has been working in the contract commercial furniture industry since 1995 and joined Western Contract in 1997. Over the years, she has built a knowledge base of practical resources and experience that makes all the difference in her ability to execute projects, both in the Greater Sacramento Region and beyond. Her responsibility of managing and expediting order activities is central and multi-faceted: ordering product and monitoring its delivery, confirming accuracy of product received, and expediting punch list completion. Callie has worked extensively with our respective out of town partners to ensure that the project information is communicated timely and effectively. With her extensive knowledge of our technology products she is able to keep a close eye on orders, no matter the distance. Her projects have included various departments within the State of California, in both Northern and Southern. Other Nation-wide customers include, but are not limited to, PowerSchool, USDA, BETA Healthcare, Dignity Health, CA State Lottery, CalSTRS and more.

PROJECT A
Provided resource -- design -- implementation of floor to ceiling tenant improvement in partnership with General Contractor. Consisting of unique branding of each location through furnishings, fixtures, finishes, artwork and accessories. Some locations included new buildouts or updates of kitchens and restrooms. Each location consists of a variation of private offices, meeting areas, open office workstations, employee lounges and wellness retreats.

PROJECT B
Worked in union with architect / architectural designer / Kings designer to provide furnishings for corporate offices in a design/build process. Continuing to work in union with contractor with scheduling/electrical and all aspects of construction as it relates to the furniture/design placement of elements. Project consisted of 160+ workstations, 26+ private offices, 5 executive offices, break rooms, lounge, outdoor patio, lobby, reception and executive spaces.

PROJECT C
Working in tandem with end-users and a local interior architecture firm, our team successfully selected fabrics and furnishings to bring forth the client's vision for their new space. The two-story tenant improvement included private offices, open plan pinwheel-shaped workstations, formal conference rooms and informal collaboration areas, as well as Cafe and Break Room spaces. Our team enjoyed learning the inner-workings of a radio station and provided solutions for unique areas such as a Green Room, sound studios and bleacher seating for morning huddles where reporters swap story ideas. During construction, we worked closely with other trades to accomplish a smooth installation. The result is a functionally beautiful space that exhibits the radio station's brand and vision for the future.

Meeting with various teams, our goal is to collect as much information as possible to assist you with creating a tailored space. Using time-proven methods and an impressive pallet of materials, finishes, lighting and furnishings, designers from our studio will work to transform these ingredients into a high-performing interior that reflects your office's culture and brand.
CONCEPT
Partnering with our Project Manager, the designer will complete a field verification to ensure all measurements, structures and electricals are reflected correctly in the drawing. With our internal programs, our designers will analyze how the space should best be utilized and create a solution.
SPACE PLANNING
We have established drawing standards that maintain quality and consistency throughout our design department. A drawing checklist is used to ensure all details are gathered and incorpoarted into our drawings. You will have the opportunity to review the drawing and note any necessary changes prior to our team issuing a drawing for final approval.
DESIGN DOCUMENTATION
Based on approved furniture floorplan, our design team will procure furniture based on your needs. With our network of over 300 manufacturers, we can provide you with a vast assortment of top-quality products and furnishings for your space.
FURNITURE SELECTION
The best way to select finishes is by touch and feel. Our team will meet with you to review finish selections by providing material samples. By using our internal program, our design team will create renderings to best conceptualize the furniture pieces within the space.
FINISHES & MATERIALS
To ensure all furniture selections will work in the space, our design team will create electrical/technical drawings to share with respective contractors and trades. These drawings will be shared to the greater team to ensure delivery and installation are completed successfully.

Samantha Crosson is our dedicated Haworth Territory Sales Manager. As a manufacturers representative, Sam is an integral part of the team. She has a seat in our office, and works directly with Western as our direct link to anything that is Haworth. She participates daily with our teams between the dealership and the manufacturer. Sam has over 15 years of industry experience and is a strong leader driven by results. She is extremely motivated, well organized and compliments the Western team! She builds long term business partnerships by creating trust and providing exceptional customer service.
Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this RFP for the Cinespace project. We are excited to present this interactive experience to help you walk through our ideas and presentation. At the end of the experience, we have provided a link to download the hard copy for your further review and records.
Working in tandem with Borges, our intent is to provide you with furniture solutions that make a lasting impact, that fit within the design intent, and also into your budget. At Western Contract, we adapt according to your needs and goals by creating a tailored solution to every project.
During the 2D and 3D planning phases, our project team will host live design meetings where we share our modeling software in real time to enable us to work together through different ideas and options. With our advanced design programs, high quality renderings are generated and can be uploaded for later review to our internal cloud platform for viewing and commenting.
When finalizing layouts, our project team creates detailed design decks that call out each detail per area/room. In these pages, each area receives a 2D and 3D layout and images of the finishes selected with a description of the furniture components. Finishes are labeled per area and are included in the design deck for reference.
We pay attention to detail and progress to ensure that we are able to meet any deadlines, and all parties are 'on task' at all times. With our customized customer portal, we can provide up to the minute reporting.
