Over the last several years long-range precision shooting has been one of the most popular and fastest-growing segments of the shooting sports market.
With the rapidly improving capabilities of new rifles and ammunition, sporting optics have had to evolve, too. So when Leupold set out to design its latest long-range, precision riflescope, the company brought in elite shooters and asked them one question: What do you need in an optic? The answer: high level contrast, increased travel, improved ergonomics and without question, something that could take a beating in the field. The result was the award-winning Mark 5HD, a scope that could only be assembled by leveraging the 70 years of manufacturing knowledge and innovation consumers have come to expect from America’s most dominant optics brand.
If precision rifle work is what you’re trying to achieve, nothing is more important than your scope. You need a rugged, reliable optic that’s been designed from the ground up to deliver everything
long-range shooters want and need. You want, in short, the Mark 5HD. Crafted to redefine accuracy, precision, and optical performance for long-range shooters, the Mark 5HD does so in a package that embodies rugged reliability. Three models – available in milliradian or MOA adjustments – are available: a 3.6-18x44,
a 5-25x56, and a 7-35x56.
Relentless Precision:
The penetration and expansion values are impressive, and the reliability of belt-reinforced control is a luxury we haven’t encountered up ‘til now.
The unique hourglass shape of the bullet helps keep the lead in the rear, and the resulting driving band is meant to help better align with the bore and promote improved accuracy.
The hollow point tip with spiral nose cuts has been optimized through years of research and development, and is said to produce devastating penetration and optimal terminal performance.
Simply put, it’s built to the expectations of law enforcement officials, and we can count on Remington to deliver.
After all, Remington has developed or adopted more cartridges than any other manufacturer in the world.
The Golden Sabre Black Belt is keeping the quality streak alive, and
is being touted as the most effective personal-defense round in Remington history.
That’s about as good as it gets.

Meet Leupold’s Game-Changing Mark 5HD Riflescope
In designing the Mark 5HD line, Leupold’s product specialists asked elite shooters what they needed to put accurate fire downrange faster, and used that input to design a riflescope that provides all the tools necessary – in both quality and features – without the unnecessary extras that add weight and cost for consumers. The Mark 5HD is up to 20 ounces lighter than other scopes in its class: The 7-35x56 weighs in at 32 ounces, the 5-25x56 at 30 ounces, and the 3.6-18x44 at 26 ounces.
Get behind a Mark 5HD, meanwhile, and you’ll see the difference.
All models deliver superior edge-to-edge clarity and extreme low-light performance. The Twilight Max HD Light Management System delivers the perfect balance of image color and contrast, light transmission, and glare management. The Mark 5HD is designed with a 35mm maintube for increased adjustment travel, and ships with a high-speed power selector ring featuring an optional low-profile throw lever that provides additional leverage.
The heart of the Mark 5HD MOA is in its M5C3 (Mil) and M1C3 (MOA) ZeroLock adjustments. The low-profile dial allows accurate return to zero and prevents inadvertent adjustments by providing both visual and tactile revolution indicators ensuring you don't get lost in the three revolutions of travel. If that sounds like a lot of travel, it is. Up to 30-Mils or over 100 MOA of adjustment – depending on model – in 3 turns is made possible due to the 35mm maintube and redesigned erector housing.

Visual and tactile revolution indicators, meanwhile, are in place to ensure you don’t get lost in the travel, and the auto-lock at zero eliminates the risk of inadvertently moving the dial. Further, the Mark 5HD’s windage adjustment is capped and the zero indicator mark has been relocated on the riflescope’s maintube so you can see it without having to move your head off the stock of the rifle.
When it comes to reticles, you’ve got options. The milliradian model Mark 5HD’s can, depending on model, feature H-59, CCH, TMR, TMR Illuminated, Tremor 3, or Tremor 3 Illuminated reticles. The MOA model Mark 5HD is available in one of three reticle options, again depending on the magnification range you select: Impact 60, PR1-MOA, and Illuminated PR1-MOA – the "PR" in the PR1-MOA standing for precision rifle.
Everything you need, nothing you don’t – all in a package that’s designed, machined, and assembled in the United States and backed by Leupold’s legendary Full Lifetime Guarantee.
