Welcome
Legacy Labyrinth has been a major part of my time at Withers – I still have the 1999 programme – so it's a huge privilege for me to be welcoming you to this year's event as the new Chair of the global firm.Much has changed since 1999, but we still aim to deliver insight into issues that may face you in administering legacy income – and have a little fun along the way. This year, you'll notice, we've stepped into the world of The Traitors. Whether you’re a devoted fan who never misses an episode or someone who’s been wondering why everyone keeps talking about cloaks, don’t worry. What makes the show such a hit is not just the drama (although that's a huge appeal!) it’s the underlying ideas we can all relate to: navigating the unknown, deciphering clues, working together, and occasionally having to fight your corner. We remain deeply committed to supporting the charity and legacy sector. Across our contentious and non-contentious teams, we are proud to work on matters that have real and lasting impact, bringing technical excellence and practical insight to each case. So, whether you’ve been a faithful guest over the years or are joining us for the first time, we are delighted to welcome you – and rest assured, there will be no banishments. We hope you enjoy the content throughout. Now, let's begin!Best wishes
