World Kinect has been providing gategroup with a wide range of services, inclusive of fuel, electricity, and natural gas procurement, price risk portfolio management, bill validation, and market intelligence. The customer requested World Kinect to deliver a consolidated reporting view of consumption and costs of its fuel and energy managed by World Kinect.
Challenge
World Kinect consolidated gategroup’s reporting of the energy costs and consumption through our World Kinect Online portal, and also delivered reporting of fuel costs and consumption through our MyWorld online customer portal.

World Kinect’s fuel and energy online reporting portals provides fully transparent reports and easily accessible on-demand data, including centralized invoice history, total and unit commodity costs – all in one place.
Information is collated at invoice, site, meter, and territory level, aggregated to match gategroup’s business structures.
Because World Kinect is also responsible for customer’s price risk management, our portal reporting delivers market and commodity price information for constant benchmarking and monitoring.
gategroup gained access to centralized fuel and energy procurement data and marketplace knowledge, allowing for more informed and effective decision making.
In the short time since the agreement was completed, savings have already been achieved not only directly by improvements in energy management, but also indirectly through the centralization of several commodities with one supplier.
