Delivering long term remediation services in the UK for National Grid Property Holdings Ltd.

Assessment and remediation

We’ve been a framework consultant for National Grid Property Holdings Ltd (NGPH) for over 25 years. We support with the assessment and remediation of NGPH’s portfolio of former manufactured gas plants and operational land owned by its gas and electricity business.

Repurposing emission heavy industry land for new uses

We’ve conducted investigations at over 800 former coal gas manufacturing sites impacted by coal tars and heavy metals, helping to repurpose the land for new uses. And we’ve managed demolition and remediation programmes at over 150 sites.

Supporting risk and liablity through digital tools

We’ve designed several bespoke digital tools and systems to support consistent, repeatable and auditable assessment at any of NGPH’s sites. We make sure direct and meaningful comparisons can be made, helping to prioritise the remediation of sites in terms of environmental risk and financial liability.
