WWP Benefits Assessment

The benefits assessment is intended to ensure the warrior is receiving the entirety of benefits to which he or she may be entitled. An accredited WWP National Service Officer establishes Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) representation to conduct a thorough review of the warrior’s VA disability compensation, ancillary benefits, and Department of Defense (DoD) entitlements.

The benefits assessment will include personalized one-on-one support to identify potential gaps in the current VA disability compensation, including recommendations on specific actions that should be taken on the warrior’s behalf to optimize any entitlements —including ancillary, VA compensation, and additional benefits, as relevant.

Pro Care Advocates

Pro Care Advocates, an arm of Cates Consulting Group, LLC provides Life Care Planning Services for individuals, families, and entities working with life-changing injuries. Cates Consulting Group has 30 years of nursing experience including direct patient care, management of patient care, and life care planning bringing valuable insight for planning for medical and non-medical care across the lifespan.

National Care Advisors

Founded, owned, and staffed by nursing professionals, National Care Advisors (NCA) is wholly focused on achieving optimal and sustainable quality of life for all.

NCA has served individuals with complex care needs since 2008, offering life care planning, quality of life assessment, third party benefits analysis, education consulting and case management services in all 50 states.

Estate Planning

WWP will connect you with local estate planning attorneys specializing in elder law and special needs planning. This service will provide access to experienced legal professionals who will review your long-term needs and create the documents you require to fulfill your goals.

This could be wills, powers of attorney, advanced directives, and the need for Trusts or court-appointed guardianship.

MassMutual SpecialCare

SpecialCare is a program formed by MassMutual over 18 years ago that provides access to insight and resources to families with dependents who have a disability.

Their mission is to help educate families and caregivers about the importance and steps in creating a plan to help provide a secure financial future. They leverage the tools, expertise, and resources of MassMutual, a prominent financial service provider since 1851.

Financial Planning

WWP’s Financial Readiness program empowers warriors to gain confidence and take control of their finances through various services. These include planning sessions with financial experts, personalized one-on-one budget counseling, and virtual seminars that cover the basics of personal finance. Additionally, there is an easy-to-access online digital portal filled with helpful resources.

A financial expert will work individually with each warrior and family to understand specific goals and challenges. After creating a plan, experts provide ongoing support to manage budgets, handle unexpected expenses, and track progress. The ongoing support and access to tailored resources help warriors feel more prepared for the future.
