Index-linked variable universal life products are complex insurance and investment vehicles and are long-term investments designed to provide death benefit protection with cash value accumulation potential. There is risk of loss of principal if negative index returns exceed the selected protection level. Gains or losses are assessed at the end of each term. Early withdrawals may result in a loss in addition to applicable surrender charges. Unpaid loans and withdrawals reduce cash values and death benefits; may reduce the duration of the guarantee against lapse, which may lapse the policy; and may have tax consequences. A choice of death benefit protections
FlexGuard offers the opportunity to choose the amount and duration of the death benefit protection.
FlexGuard Life also allows clients to choose the length of guarantee against lapse, which can be extended for an additional cost, providing them with guaranteed coverage as long as sufficient premiums are paid and other guaranteed requirements are met. FlexGuard’s No-Lapse Guarantee ensures that, for a certain time period, their policy will stay in effect no matter what happens to their policy’s values.
5-year premium-based guarantee
They can choose to have the guarantee last for as little as five years, as long as they live, or anywhere in between:
Automatically included in policy with option to add extended rider.
Optional rider that extends no-lapse guarantee through age 90.
Extended NLG Rider
Optional rider that extends no-lapse guarantee through age 120.
Extended Plus NLG Rider
The amount, timing, and number of premium payments will impact the No-Lapse Guarantee; as will any loans and withdrawals. Longer Lapse Protection option is provided by the Extended NLG Rider or Extended Plus NLG Rider.

ACCESS
FlexGuard Life allows clients to access the accumulated cash value in their policy, to use for anything they choose, like supplementing retirement, through loans that are charged interest, or through withdrawals.
It also offers living benefits that include accelerating the death benefit—accessing the money that would otherwise go to their beneficiaries when they pass away—although it will reduce the amount they ultimately receive. These are:

This chart illustrates the S&P 500 index returns from 1995 to 2024. In 23 of those 30 years, the return was positive; in 7 it was negative. With the protection of a 10% buffer, the account value would have experienced no loss in 3 of those 7 years. So, on a rolling monthly basis, a 10% buffer would have protected the account value from loss 87% of the time, and a 15% buffer would have protected it 91% of the time.

GROWTH PART 3
FlexGuard Life offers index strategies for cash value growth potential based on the performance of the S&P 500 Index.
Clients can choose to allocate their premiums to one or more of the index strategies, or combine them with allocations to variable investment options or the fixed rate option.
Restrictions apply to transferring amounts out of the fixed rate option and the index strategies into the variable investment options. Please see the prospectuses for additional details.
Index crediting strategies offer levels of protection from market loss (floor or buffers). Interest is credited on a point-to-point basis—i.e., at the end of the year—based on the performance of the S&P 500 index, specific index crediting strategy, and floor or buffer you select. At the end of the index term, clients can renew or reallocate to any growth strategy available at that time—unless they have elected the Extended Plus NLG rider; in that case, all allocations must remain in the buffered index strategies for the first 10 policy years. It is important to note that they can’t transfer funds from an index crediting strategy to a variable investment option at any time. The following buffers and index crediting strategies are currently offered. {Please note that not all options may be available in all states or through all broker-dealers.}

Please reference the prospectus for information about the levels of protection available and other important product information.
Investing in Prudential FlexGuard's index strategies does not represent a direct investment in an index.
Prudential FlexGuard Life is issued by Pruco Life Insurance Company and distributed through Pruco Securities, LLC (member SIPC). Both are Prudential Financial companies located in Newark, NJ.
Product and riders subject to state approvals. Not available in New York.
It is possible to lose money by investing in securities.
Clients should consider the investment objectives, risks, charges, and expenses carefully before investing in the contract and/or underlying portfolios. The initial summary prospectus for the contract, the prospectus for the index strategies, and the prospectus or summary prospectus for the underlying portfolios (collectively, the “prospectuses”) contain this information as well as other important information and may be obtained by contacting your Prudential life wholesaler or from prudential.com.
